Serial data ( V.35, X.21, RS449, V.24) to Ethernet

The Afar NetCrossing™ gateway take your synchronous serial data in formats including V.35, RS-232, RS-530, and convert it to Ethernet packets for transmission over an IP or Ethernet packet switch network. They support synchronous speeds of up to 8 Mbps. At the remote end, the gateway removes the Ethernet or IP framing and reconstructs the original data stream. The gateways regenerate the clocks and keep both ends synchronized with no bit slips.

E1 / T1 ( structured & unstructured ) to Ethernet

The Afar NetCrossing™ Gateway converts your T1 or E1 signals into Ethernet packets and establishes a virtual connection to a peer gateway across an IP or Ethernet packet switch network. At the remote end you will get your original T1 or E1 signals back, undisturbed and with no bit slips.

Analogue Voice (FXO, FXS) to IP

The MediaPack™ Analogue Media Gateway product family is based on AudioCodes' field-proven and best-of-breed VoIP technology. Featuring 2, 4, 8 or 24 analogue ports, the gateways connect analogue terminals, PBXs or key systems to the IP network using FXO or FXS connectivity. Compliant with multiple protocols including SIP, H.323 and MGCP, the Analogue Media Gateways enable flexible deployment and interoperability for the evolving next generation networks. Using AudioCodes' Analogue Media Gateways, Network Equipment Providers and System Integrators can effectively deliver carrier-hosted converged services as well as enterprise-based applications.

Serial data ( V.35, X.21, RS449, V.24) to Fibre

Loop Telecom's Fibre Optical Mux product family provides ideal solutions for building fibre-based E1/T1 networks. As one of this family, model Loop-O9300 can multiplex up to 16 E1/T1 signals for transmission over an optical fibre, resulting in longer reach without repeaters and superior performance compared to copper media. The Loop Mux also supports optional ports such as 10 /100 BaseT port ,Quad RS232 async ports to 64Kbps, Quad V.35, Quad X.21, Quad RS449/V.36, Quad RS232/V.28, Quad EIA530 or EIA530(A), or Quad V.24 with DTE/DCE selection. All services are transported point-to-point in a real static TDM manner with guaranteed service delivery.

STM1 Electrical & Optical Converters

As the demands for on-site communication increase, certainly in the IP arena, fibre cable becomes the attractive solution in capacity, cost and quality. The Metrodata family of fibre converters allows the interconnectivity of two different types of fibre mediums.

The FC2X00 media converter allows for Singlemode fibre (SM) to Multimode fibre (MM) connection. The FC2000 caters for shorthaul and the FC2500 for longhaul applications.
The FC4X00 media converter allows for connectivity between electrical & Optical Fibre networks. The FC4100 is for shorthaul, and the FC4200 longhaul applications.
